Nothing is known about Rosa Bilda’s origins and parents. She married Julius Diehn, who was probably born in Rosengarten on 5 October 1878, and lived with him first in Groß Steinort, later in Pristanien. A first son named Gustav died in 1903 three months after his birth, a second son Wilhelm in 1906 after two months. In 1909, a daughter was apparently born, whose fate is not known.[1] It is also unclear when her husband died. Perhaps Rosa and Julius later had other children: in 1945, at least in Kittlitz, there was a farm worker called Julius Diehn, who was born about 1910 and lived there with his wife Eliese and a daughter.[2]
