Friedrich Wilhelm Gericke.

born: 30 October 1822, died: 23 February 1879.

Between 1867 and 1869, a Mr. Gericke was mentioned four times in the Angerburger Kreisblatt as a land inspector or chief inspector in Groß Steinort. In this function he must have worked for the Lehndorffs.^[1] As “Gerike”, son of the land inspector Samuel Gerike, he is listed on the death register of the parish.^[2] Apparently he did not come from the area, because there are no other Gerickes or Gerikes in the church books.
